شپشک آرد‌آلود Polystomophora orientalis Matesova در تاریخ 15/3/1386 از منطقهی بایگ تربت حیدریه در استان خراسان رضوی از روی ریشه‌ی خارشتر، Alhagi pseudoalhagi، جمع‌آوری شد. جنس و گونه‌ی این شپشک برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شود. جنسPolystomophora Borchsenius تاکنون از منطقهی Palaearctic گزارش شده است.
